I am a hard-working, dedicated and enthusiastic individual, graduating from Cleveland College of Art and Design with a BA(Hons) in Production Design for Stage and Screen in July 2017. I am a responsible and pro-active worker, able to interact and work well as part of a team or individually. I am highly motivated and can’t imagine working a ‘standard’ 9 to 5 and I will always put in the extra effort to finish a project to the best of my ability and to the client’s – and my own – high standards. My skill-set includes model making, prop making, scenic art and puppetry, however I am happy to get involved in all areas of creative projects and will turn my hand to anything as required. I am want to learn new skills to progress my career and will put in the time to improve myself and so a project can reach its full potential.


Practical: White card model construction, mock-ups and scale. Technical and perspective drawing. Workshop machinery skills with a variety of equipment and sculpting abilities in a range of materials. Knowledge of moulding and casting, prop making and construction, faux finishes and scenic painting.

IT: CAD including Photoshop, Illustrator (designing for the laser cutter) and InDesign. Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Other: Car owner with full, clean driver’s licence.

Costumes with Character LtdNovember 2017 – Present Day
Prop and character costumer maker at Costumes with Character.

ITV “Victoria”February 2017
Set dressing and assisting stand-by set and prop teams on location in Hartlepool. Creating fabric swags to hide modern features and create decorative displays around the set. I also experienced the filming process as part of the standby set and props team.

Footprints SceneryOctober 2016
Work placement inside the busy workshop of a scenery construction company in South London. Assisting them with a Christmas sleigh project, painting samples and preparing surfaces before helping complete the final construction of the piece.

The National Theatre: Scenic StudioAugust 2016
Two week placement within The National Theatre, London, resident scenic art department, learning faux effect and scenic painting skills and techniques whilst assisting on current projects.

Wycombe Swan Youth Project: Dr DoolittleJuly – August 2016
Volunteer art assistant during the two week intensive summer youth theatre production at The Wycombe Swan in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Helping the young technical team create scenic pieces and props.

Pinewood CreativeJune – July 2016
Three week work placement at Pinewood Creative within Pinewood Studios, Buckinghamshire. I worked with the creative group, assisting with faux effect painting and texturing, wood finishes, moulding and casting and experiencing the process from design to reality.

Creature Encounter: “RSVP Santa”February – May 2016
A live brief within one of my University modules gave us the opportunity to work with the company Creature Encounter. As part of a group I helped design and create a small scale woodland pathway and cottage set for the opening sequence of filming for a project they are currently working on.

Full Scale Set Build: “The Street”September 2015 – January 2016
For my Production Design module at University, I designed, modelled, built, painted and dressed a studio flat building for a proposed TV series “The Haunted Histories of Hartlepool”, as part of a larger street set collaboration.

ITV Studios: “Beowulf”March 2015
One week work placement with ITV studios assisting prop makers, sculptors and painters on the Newcastle based set of the major TV series including painting and ageing set and furniture, dying fabric samples. I created part of a large cloth decoration piece.

Billingham Ice Show: Scenic ArtistOctober – December 2015
I was part of a team painting large scenic backcloths for the annual ice show at Billingham Forum. This involved translating designs onto large cloths that would be hung across the ice rink.

Maidenhead Drama Guild: Christmas PantoNovember – December 2013
I was part of the backstage team painting set pieces and props for the Berkshire based Drama Guild’s yearly pantomime, Aladdin.

Basement Photographic: Studio AssistantJuly 2011 and July 2013
Placement at busy Buckinghamshire based studio assisting a set dresser and studio staff including steaming, preparing and organising clothes for photo-shoots, helping dress models, cataloguing photos, arranging sets, assisting the set dresser and taking photographs.


Bloodstock FestivalAugust 2015 and August 2016
Bar staff working 12 hour shifts throughout the festival in main and private bar areas.
